Proper care of your jewelry is essential to maintain its integrity and condition. Please follow these recommendations to protect your fine jewelry.
Never wear jewelry in chlorinated water or when working with household chemicals. These chemicals can react with the metal, stones/pearls and/or degrade solder joints. Chlorine, especially at high temperatures, can permanently damage or discolor your gold jewelry.
Avoid dents and scratches by removing jewelry, especially rings and bracelets, when doing rough work or working with chemicals, including household cleaning chemicals. Chemicals can ruin finishes, solder joints and damage stones and pearls.
Remove jewelry before showering. Soap can cause a film to form, making it appear dull and dingy.
Avoid dip cleaners for jewelry with gemstones/pearls or pieces with a patina. It is also recommended that ultrasonic cleaners, steamers and other at home cleaning chemicals be avoided.
Routinely wiped down with a polishing cloth designed for silver use such as Goddard’s Silver Polishing Cloths and/or cleaning with diluted mild soap in warm water.

Returns and cancellations are accepted under certain conditions. If there is a concern with your order please contact me within 7 days of delivery. Qualifying items must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery.
Request an order cancellation within 2 days of purchase.
We cannot accept exchanges.
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for custom or personalized orders nor items on sale.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Lefler DesignStudio welcomes custom design orders. We will work together to create a piece of jewelry unique to you. As such, there will be a $50 non-refundable design fee that will be applied to the total cost of the piece when purchased. All custom orders require a NON-REFUNDABLE down-payment of approximately half of the purchase price once we are ready to begin construction of your special piece of jewelry. The remaining balance will be paid prior to shipment. Custom orders generally take longer to complete. We will quote a delivery window after the details of the custom design have been approved.
Because each piece is handmade, most designs can be made with your stone and/or size preference. Most orders will require a minimum of two to four weeks, depending upon our current schedule, for completion. We will quote you a shipping window when we are ready to begin construction of our piece. Feel free to call or email with any questions about current timelines. We do our best to accommodate any deadlines, so please let us know if you have a need-by date.
If you need your pieces faster than four weeks from the date of order, during certain times of the year this may incur a RUSH FEE dependent upon complexity of design and lead time. Rush Service may not always be available - please call or email to inquire as to our scheduling availability.
All orders, unless requested otherwise, are shipped USPS and will include insurance. Shipping charges will be determined upon completion of order and applied to the final payment due.
If you wish to pay with a check or money order, please place your order by calling or emailing. Orders will be held until all funds are cleared. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Master Card and American Express) and are able to accept payments via PayPal and Squareup.
Sales tax is automatically applied to your order in accordance with North Carolina regulations. (Last updated on 01/01/2019)
Orders cancelled while the order is in process may be charged a cancellation fee of 15%. Orders cannot be cancelled if already shipped. Cancellations for orders other than custom orders longer out than 30 days may be cancelled without penalty. See section on Custom Orders for additional information.
Because our jewelry is handcrafted to your specifications and colors, we regret that we cannot issue refunds for reasons other than defects in production.
If there is a problem with size, length, or if anything is not as you expected, please contact us with 24 hours of receipt, and well will do our best to correct the problem.
All of our jewelry is guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for one year from the date of purchase. This includes loose stones, faulty soldering, and the like. Any such repairs will be made for free during the warranty period. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear, or damage incurred from accident or improper handling or storage. We do not cover strike damage, such as dropping. Any repairs after the warranty or due to damage or normal wear and tear will incur a fee.
If your jewelry is received damaged, please notify us within 24 hours upon receipt, and retain all packing materials in case a claim must be filed with the carrier. DO NOT attempt to repair your jewelry yourself - doing so will void our warranty.
Should your jewelry ever require any repair or cleaning, just let us know, and we'll go over the procedure for sending it in. Return shipping is charged for any repairs or maintenance beyond 30 days of purchase
